Absolutely. Since we have a lot of reserves of those minerals in the US, lets waive a lot of the regulatory hurdles so we can extract them.

We pulled our kids from school after a "anti-gun" walk out. Boys were in Jr High, closed campus nobody supposed to leave. If a kid did leave immediately notify parents. If teachers were leaving campus with kids on a field trip, signed permission slips. Kids "held" a walk out, I wonder where they got the idea? Anyway the school staff went with them. One kid called from a near by grocery store to come get him. I found the principle and ask where the other kid was. She had no clue. She said she went along to make sure they were safe. Found my other kid half a mile away with some of their friends.

I made a stink. The system denied anything was done wrong.

The educational system NEVER admits to doing anything wrong. Ever. I can't recall a situation where administration ever admitted anything was amiss. I would love to hear any examples where such an admission was made.
