Man who rammed his vehicle into Michigan synagogue was naturalized citizen from Lebanon, DHS says

WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. (AP) — The armed man who rammed his vehicle into one of the nation’s largest Reform synagogues Thursday has been identified as a 41-year-old naturalized citizen born in Lebanon, according to federal officials.

Ayman Mohamad Ghazali was fatally shot by security officers after driving through a hallway at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township near Detroit, Michigan, in a vehicle that then caught fire, authorities said.

I going to go out on a limb speculate on ties to Hesboallah.

Suspect in Michigan synagogue attack lost family in recent airstrike in Lebanon, source says. Here's what we know.

The Department of Homeland Security identified the suspect as Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a Lebanese-born U.S. citizen. A source in Michigan's Lebanese American community told CBS News that a strike roughly 10 days prior on the Lebanese village of the suspect's family killed several of his family members, leaving him devastated.

I read about that in between cleaning yesterday. That synagogue did well to train. I only wish it wasn't necessary, but better to be safe--and offend everyone when it happens--then to suffer such a tragedy.

It would have more justification behind it than their arguments. Which is why such arguments will almost certainly never see the light of day.
