Morning, campers. Kosh has been working on the site, I see. I think I'm in line with revo or turn, I don't remember which one--but I am becoming sick of politics.

All to true, sick of it all... But that is part of the leftist strategy.... wear us out... make us give up... so they win by default.

In #1 vxbush said: I am becoming sick of politics. I, too---something I never thought I'd say. I'm sick of both the Democrats' "Get Trump!" obsession, and of their endless, tiresome Private Primary system, which they have initiated to winnow the field before the real primaries, and to focus-group-test the soundbites that their dark-horse unity candidate will use to sweep the field, starting probably after New Hampshire. Both are exhausting.

Question for our legal experts. i have asked how the whistle blower statute protects the anonymity of the “whistleblower”. the code cited back to me has been: 50 U.S.C. 421 - Protection of identities of certain United States undercover intelligence officers, agents, informants, and sources.
q1. Does this really allow for protecting the anonymity of the whistleblower? q2. Does the sixth amendment apply?

Reply to vxbush in 1: I understand the “sick of politics” sentiment. I also think it is part of the plan. If they can wear us down to the point that we throw up our hands in disgust and frustration, they get what they want.
For much of what we call the left, politics is a religion. They believe with a faith that would move mountains that they can use the brute force power of government to make a heaven on earth. They have ends that justify any means. For us, politics is essentially an argument and discussion over process and processes. It is kind of boring and a bit mechanistic. There is not much about it to get all that worked up about, except when the other side destroys everything and starts marching us off to the gulags. They have a paradise to create and we are in their way. It is a problem.

Whistle Blower protections
|
Reply to Syrah in 4: Working now in DoD firm I got a "whistleblower" brief. Kosh may have some other info. It does not protect identity. It protects against reprisals. Understand also just before this one came forward they change the rule that it had to be first hand information to they could have second hand information. There are also penalties for false reports.
