Good morning from rainy but clearing Atlanta. I've been having a blast with all my kids here. The World's Best GranddaughterTM is the happiest person I've ever met in my life. We all went to the aquarium yesterday, which naturally led to a rousing chorus of Baby Shark. This morning we've read Peter Rabbit, played with the new mermaid doll, and are enjoying a Disney dance party.

So I am very grateful today. As I was driving in to work at the edge of town (where the speed limit is 45 mph), someone on a side road decided to ignore my presence and attempt to cross traffic. I almost hit him, but thankfully he stopped before he got in front of my car. It wasn't up to me; even standing on the brakes, I couldn't stop in time. It was going to lead to a loud "crunch" followed by someone calling in to work for me telling folks I wasn't going to make it in. So I'm really glad that accident was avoided.

Finally picked up the van today. Going to have to sit down and figure out all the bells and whistles though. Lots of bells and whistles.... Going to be a pig on gas though.

Take your time going through the user's guide. It seems like the manuals are written horribly but they do show you how you can use the new bells and whistles. I have no great suggestions on the gas guzzling, though. Our van is definitely a pig.

Reply to vxbush in 17: Well, I have figured out the bluetooth and audio. And changed the clock to the correct time (also 24 hour clock...). So most of the other stuff can wait. Figuring out if I can play DVD's for him and listen to my stuff at the same time is going to be next on the list.
