Other than the first statements condemning gun violence. The ruling elite in Seattle has been silent since the shooting. This incident could be a sea change. It wasn't gang on gang. It wasn't an drunken brawl after the bars closed. It was ordinary people caught in the crossfire and the ruling elites are clueless on how to respond.

Reply to JCM in 2: I think people who still have a brain realize that there will be guns on the street no matter their legal status. Drugs are illegal, but they are still readily available. My wife's clients with criminal records can get guns easily, more easily than I can legally. And Massachusetts has strict gun laws.

A great example of how biased the media are, because of either Bush or Trump had done something like that, it would have been on the front pages and lead stories, with editorials saying they needed to be removed from office. With Trump, they'd also claim he was trying to intimidate Democrats so he'd win re-election. But Obama could do no evil.
