They are upset it denies the "legitimate rights of the Palestinians", by which they mean the destruction of Israel.

Whenever I hear people repeat the talking points about "Israeli settlements" I always make certain to explain that what Fakestinians and their friends mean by that phrase is the state of Israel itself.

Respect for other countries, and not trying to overthrow any other country is one.
