So, you might think that there would be hosannahs from some quarter, at least, for Trump's appointment of Richard Grenell, former ambassador to Germany, to his new acting-appointment as national-security advisor, the first "openly-gay" person to achieve such a high appointment?  

Guess again.  There's been no mention of his sexual preference in the MSM discussion of the appointment, but NPR was breathlessly quoting the NYT and the Washington Post this morning about how "the Russians are interfering in the election again, to re-elect Donald Trump," and tying his appointment of Grenell to that alleged Russian effort.  They even had a "former acting national-security advisor" from the Obama administration on to claim "Russian interference in the election" and to say that "Grenell was not qualified."

Is it 2016? Of course foreign powers are using social media to "influence" the election. I'll be Maduro has bots boosting Bernie.

You know, I would really like to see someone actually hold the fire under the feet and ask for, you know, evidence of these claims. But of course the media has no interest in doing that.
