Nicely done.

Interesting to see that he mentions that the people now disparaging freedom are using "free-dumb" to mock those who actually advocate for freedom.  I was using "free-dumb" to mock hippie types decades ago; "Free Dope! Free Dumb!" seemed to describe them perfectly.

Glory, glory what an utterly thankless task
Lining up to jump out of an airplane in a mask
It won't keep him alive, not even an N95
And he ain't gonna jump no more

I saw someone yesterday on the street wearing a mask that had two circular vents---one on each side of the mask.  Big honking thing.

It occurred to me that it would amusing to make a mask like that, with vents on both sides, in the shape of a warthog snout, with tusks curling around/holding the two side vents.  It would be quite the fashion statement.

He hit the nail on the head when he posited that the Climate Apocalypse crowd have shifted to being the Covid Apocalypse crowd. Because Sceince! and because Freedom is FreeDumb.  Of course those folk think that because they're so enlightened they'd be part of the ruling class.  In truth they'd be like Klaus Kinski in Dr. Zhivago -- an idealist in chains on the way to Siberia.

I’ve seen people with those, as well. Replaceable filter cartridges.  They might be worth looking into for the next “big event“ shall we say.

I also saw a woman on the street yesterday who was wearing a cloth mask that was decorated on the front with the iconic “Rocky horror picture show“ lips and teeth. I thought that was pretty clever.

So we now know that (1) the FBI had intel that showed the Russians wanted Hillary elected by buried it, and (2) Schiff knew from the beginning that the "Russian Collusion" was bunk but went ahead with his investigation anyway.

And with that in mind, I just ordered one of these.

If I'm happy with it, I'll order a second one for Little OR (they supposedly make a child size).

While driving I was listening to my local NPR affiliate, they had a program about basically “how to talk to your kids about the pandemic“. Clearly these people are bent on turning their kids into anxiety disorder-messes.  E.g., “We don’t tell her kids that things will go back to normal, that’s never going to happen”.  Um, yes, it will. I mean, if you decide for *yourself* not to go back to normal, that’s your choice.  But don’t inflict that madness on children.

I liked WUWT's headline on that:  @CNN hits peak stupid.

I also liked a linked piece at Insty that compared Thunberg to Vaughn Meader.  Admittedly, I had to look up the reference; then quickly recognized the album.  Yes, we had it, although my mom refused to let it be played (though never just threw it out, for some reason).

We had it too -- I pulled it out and played it a few times.

That's the kind of mask I have, but with one vent. The one I want is a gaiter style that resembles a Dia de Los Muertos skull. I have a coffee mug in that style and my granddaughter instantly recognized it as Coco.
