Among the political spam in my in box one subject line caught my eye.

Help President Trump's Movement!

My first thought, "Why? Is he constipated?"

And I deleted it without opening.

It's the President Trump anti-PC movement, and all you gotta do to join is sing the next time it comes around on the guitar

Bait and switch

Found a great deal on a truck.

Call to see it was still there. Yup it is.

Get there sit down and... opps that price has expired.

Phbbbttt.

I prefer to buy new and keep the vehicle until it runs into the ground.

Yes, I eat the depreciation up front - but not in the long term.

At least I know there aren't hidden problems.

BTW, when I traded in my last car I got significantly more than I expected for a trade-in. The dealer had done all the maintenance and could see it had been maintained and knew the condition it was in. Yup, I paid more than if I went to the local garage, but the local garage went downhill after the guy that started it retired.

You expressed deep concern about the infirmity of the truck based on the weakness of the original asking prices, and offered to purchase it at a 25% discount of the initial price?

That's my plan kept the last truck 20 years and 200k miles. When monthly repairs are more than car payments time to get something new.

I did have a brilliant idea on the way home cash my insurance payout check for my totaled truck.

When I go into the dealer, stack all those $100 bills on the desk at the beginning of the negotiations.

And the dealer will find a use for all those bills.

I am in the market for a used commercial truck.

was that dealership in snohomish or King co? It sounds like I would like to avoid them, if they also sell commercial box or step-vans.
