Oh hai!

So, Bogota is a good place for gun nuts.  On my way back to my hotel I passed soldiers armed with Galils, and police tactical types armed with Tavors. Fun times!

They've been repainting the "gate guards" at Hanscom.

The Stump Jumper looks much nicer now (no current picture, this is from an earlier restoration)

Reply to Kosh's Shadow in 3:  Very cool plane.  I enjoyed reading about it.  During the war my dad knew planes and taught young members of the Army Air Corps how to fix them.  His uncle, who was only two or three years older than dad served with the Sea Bees during WWII

I park on the base, as it avoids a road that has bad traffic, and there are some nice shaded parking lots.

Going in, it is left at the P-40, right at the F-86, and the reverse going home

And for OR, the guards usually have only sidearms, but I have seen them with M-16's
