As a short person, I feel triggered. I think you owe me reparations.

1971, when the music was great, and the styles were grating

I knew what it was before I clicked.

Paparazzi, huh? Just for that.

Love it.

I adored the original of this; I had no idea Rod Stewart recorded it. If I were drunk enough, it would be my karaoke song.

I hated that song. Anacin, that's what I need when I hear Allison

The one Elvis Costello song I like

That's a great song, but if that's the only one you like, you're missing out.

I'm still waiting for Elvis Costello to get a sidekick Abbot and do a song Who's On First (but they both have to be wearing blue suede shoes)

And while we wait, Neil Innes in Blue Suede Schubert

New Miserable Experience is one of my top 10 albums of all time. Lost Horizons has such great lines. "She had nothing left to say, so she said she loved me/And I stood there grateful for the lie." And "I'm drunk drunk drunk in the gardens and the graves." RIP Doug Hopkins.

Here is a somewhat obscure group, but when I heard this song on the radio, I had to look it up

From that same period, I love Counting Crows and the Wallflowers. I've seen all three live. Hearing Adam Duritz on backup vocals on Sixth Avenue Heartache was incredible.

Yes, they are from Iceland. Here they do a song about an Icelandic legend about why there are no bees in Iceland (and I think of it every  time dogs get dirty paws)

If you have Amazon Prime, you need to see Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga.  It's about an Icelandic duo that somehow manages to make it to the Eurovision finals. A lot depends on how you feel about Will Ferrell (I like him in most things), but it's just a warm, oddball comedy.
