Qantas selling off stocked bar carts from retired 747s

Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Australian airline Qantas, which recently retired its fleet of Boeing 747 jets, is giving aviation fans the chance to bring a piece of the airline home by selling 1,000 fully stocked bar carts.

The carts are being sold for $685 each -- or 169,000 Qantas Points.

Okay.... my phone charging cord.... JUST CAUGHT ON FIRE!

The boys thought it was funny as hell.... me yanking the cord out of the USB plug... dropping it because it was hot... the gingerly picking up and running to the kitchen to throw it in the sink. I think it shorted then the plastic caught fire.
