So, I had chills yesterday and some sneezing since Sunday. I had a 99.9 fever this afternoon about 3:30. I was supposed to have a regular doctor appointment tomorrow but instead I have to get a Covid test, just in case. I don't feel bad and we've been having tree trimming companies on my street which would explain the sneezing but the fever threw me.

Reply to @PBJ3 in 5: .Get well fast. My wife has dental appointments coming up, so we're really careful about any contact with people. We both have allergies (hers are worse, plus asthma - which apparently protects against COVID)

Reply to @PBJ3 in 5: I believe that pollen allergies can actually cause a low fever in some cases. And your fever is pretty low, barely registers in terms of being COVID-19-level, so don’t get too worried about it but obviously do the test anyway.

A conspiracy theory moment. I don't think COVID was a deliberate release, because the big shots in the CCP would not have let something out that could come back and make them sick and possibly die. They would not have released something without a vaccine or cure. And it has been long enough that they'd be selling a vaccine or cure. But what if they do have one, and are only distributing it to those in their thrall - so the Dems who go to lobbyist birthdays, and so on, have access, but the rest of us don't. I can't imagine the Dems keeping this that quiet, though.

Thanks! I went to get stamps today and when I got into my car the windshield was dusty from the tree trimming. I ran the wiper blades for a few seconds and there was over a cup of pollen piled up. The nearest tree to our property is a pine which bothers me a lot.

Reply to @PBJ3 in 12: Really sounds like allergies. I had to go to the post office to pick up mail in the PO box and get holiday stamps. The winter scenes are very good this year, and Gak is included

To be honest, I am not so sure either and I am not sure about the mRNA vaccines. I'm a little more interested at taking the one from Oxford/Astra Zeneca, though I don't think it's up to 90% yet, like the others. I've heard the mRNA ones make you at risk for cancer within a couple of years. Maybe all of that is just a conspiracy theory but I've already had cancer in close family so I just don't want to take a chance. I wonder if we will be able to choose our own preference.

Reply to @PBJ3 in 22: I don't think the mRNA vaccines make you at risk for cancer, but they are new.. I trust the Brilife vaccine from Israel, but the company that developed it is not up to producing enough for outside Israel. (It uses a virus that does not infect people, modified to produce the proteins COVID has on its surface) BTW, one of the vaccines had two deaths of people who got the vaccine, which will probably be blown out of proportion. Few articles will point out that there were 4 deaths in the control group (did NOT get the vaccine)
