We have a load of squirrels around here.  They are fun to watch.  Our cat enjoys watching them too.

Seems to be a bug in the CAD software. I've now got a good enough example to file a ticket on it.

Very high end software package for electrical CAD work, but the end of I work with which is the components is 10 or more years behind the competitors is a pain to work with.

Our dogs watch, and then bark because the squirrels stay out of reach. 

Interesting how the squirrels jump from branch to branch to go from tree to tree without going near the ground.

I know Mil-spec and space-spec components are usually way behind state of the art. Small feature size in newer components means radiation disrupts the circuit much more easily.

BTW, I got a new work laptop at the beginning of Nov. Old one got surplused - email said the acquisition date was  Nov, 2011

They must have worked some magic on it for it to last 9 years. I'm doing well if I get 4.

The New York Times‘ Jonathan Weisman made the claim in a comprehensive way in his 2018 book (((Semitism))): Being Jewish in America in the Age of Trump. Weisman’s essential argument in his book was that being Jewish means being progressive and everything that isn’t progressive is anti-Semitic. By this definition, Ilhan Omar and Tlaib are Jews, and Trump, the Republicans, Netanyahu and Israel as a whole are anti-Semites.

Jewish progressives have internalized Weisman’s message.

We're playing a middle game. We are testing automotive grade components in our lab to certify for our use. We're planning on a limited lifespan for the low earth orbit sats. Their orbits decay naturally and it's part of the disposal plan, so we don't need full up aerospace certification.
