I think I need a strong drink. Our neighborhood is under lockdown for a couple of active shooters. No one has been hurt but a female sheriff was fired on earlier this afternoon. She's okay but they are calling it an "ambush". It happened before I took my husband some supplies but omg it was hard to get to our house. Our sheriffs, Pasadena P.D. and the CA Highway Patrol have blocked off many streets and we still have a droning helicopter. This happened around one something this afternoon.

Reply to midwestgak in 4: It was pretty, this afternoon, driving west on California Blvd. through San Marino, and past Cal Tech. I don't usually drive home that way but I have a favorite Thai restaurant across from the Huntington Memorial Hospital. I was hungry for Pad Thai. I went north on Fair Oaks after picking up my food but at Woodbury Rd. they had the street blocked. Lincoln was blocked as well.
