How I hate these "unprecedented" times. Mom is in the hospital with two hairline fractures in her back (nurse on Friday told me one compression fracture) Dropped off some things yesterday and I wasn't allowed to take them to her in person. "No visitors" policy is currently in effect. Mom called my wife today since she didn't have my phone number asking for a few more items, apparently she won't be coming home for awhile. We were originally told she would be home tomorrow. One of the things she needs is batteries for her hearing aids. Which I placed in the bag to be taken to her. Doesn't help that she's mostly blind as well. Can't get the nurses to assist really because they are "super busy" with other things. Have to grit my teeth and try not to scream at somebody when I take things over tomorrow.

Reply to turn in 5: She suffers from osteoporosis and has severe scoliosis of the spine. That's all it takes apparently at her age.

Early this morning I was dreaming that I was involved in trying to prevent the cancellation of a childrens' book, and related musically-themed television show, called "Danny Moebius and the Flaming Octopus' '. There was a theme song to DM&TFO, that was running through my head, but that I don't recall now.
