Lucius---that rubber-band gun vid reminded me of the rubber-band rifle my father made for me.  It had a trigger mechanism which pushed the rubber-band---stretched over the barrel---off the barrel so that the rubber band would shoot.

Sadly, after a certain amount of use the stock broke near the trigger mechanism, and when he glued it back together the trigger would no longer work.  But it brings back a nice memory---especially since this is the 22nd anniversary of his death.

Well, until it broke.  

He made me a rubber-band pistol after that, with a much simpler mechanism.  The rifle required bicycle inner-tube strips to stretch across the barrel; it was a pretty lethal weapon for a rubber-band gun.

Unless you are Iran, in which case the snapback sanctions will not snap back.

BTW, the Iranians now are banning "snap" inspections - as if they ever allowed them.
