It's the wrong week for the blog but a friend brought me Sunday dinner and it's a Persian dish with chicken in an apricot sauce over white and yellow rice.....delicious. I wish I could remember the name of it.

The yellow rice is colored with saffron. The sauce would be Koresh Ghesyi.

Reply to JCM in 3: Thanks, I hoped you would know. You lived over there with your missionary parents, didn't you?
In other news my internet keeps dropping off in case I suddenly disappear from the web.

Reply to @PBJ3 in 4: Ten years total. I still cook Persian meals on a regular basis.

Reply to JCM in 5: Ten years is quite awhile. I love the food. My friend had made it for her brother who was visiting from Brooklyn, New York last week. She brought me another meal or two that her aunt made.

In #3 JCM said: The sauce would be Koresh Ghesyi. Make it extra spicy with some CS gas extract, and grill over an open flame, and it’s David Koresh Ghesyi.
