We all appreciate your efforts. However, lack of traffic on the blog is not a personal affront to you. It may mean we're tired, busy with family members, watching a movie, reading a book, or simply don't feel like talking. Speaking for myself, using guilt to encourage participation has the opposite effect. You invariably focus on the negative and some days I just don't want to get into it. We're all unhappy about the state of the world, but we can talk about solutions and even have some fun. 

Sorry if I'm negative about the negativity but I just feel the need to say what I've been thinking. I value all of you as longtime friends and I want this to continue as a community where we can exchange ideas and be ourselves.

I'm sorry to hear that.  BTW, I saw that adorable picture you posted elsewhere of the squire with his stuffed animals today.  That was such a cute picture that it cheered me up.
