Blinken wants the Palestinians to have freedom, security, and democracy, he needs to take it up with the PA and Hamas

I actually think the Palestinians deserve "freedom, security, prosperity, and democracy" (The people, not their leaders, who should all be in quite unpleasant prisons for their war crimes)

And the Palestinians should have it in  Arab countries. Not that any of those are really available in Arab countries, but that is not Israel's fault.

I mean, sure, in some abstract sense, perhaps one could say that the people of North Korea and the people of Switzerland ”should enjoy equal measures of freedom, security, prosperity, and democracy”.  But the political leadership of North Korea are not on board with that; nor, effectively speaking, are the people of North Korea. So making the statement is just an exercise in mental masturbation.
