I think the pipeline was operating manually for a time. Colonial announced they were restarting production at 5 this afternoon. It should sort itself out in a few days - actually, if morons with 3 SUVs hadn't panicked, it would have been barely a blip. I'm sitting here with a quarter of a tank, but I don't really need to go anywhere until the weekend.

What, this is only a year from the GREAT TOILET PAPER SHORTAGE!!!!!!

(I usually buy a 20 pack of toilet paper when I get down to 10 or so rolls. But last year, I had just opened the previous 20 pack, and something told me to buy another one. Next week, the TP aisles were wiped clean, but we were in good shape!)

I get a lot of the basics in large quantities from Amazon. I probably had 20 rolls of TP when the panic started. Amazon couldn't fulfill my regular order until May but I was okay.

Me, I topped off the tank before picking up my son from his mom, so I’m probably at 90% or so of a full tank.  I don’t plan on driving much of anywhere until next Wednesday, when I go to drop him off again. So, fingers crossed, hopefully they’ll have the whole mess sorted out by then.
