My husband and I have been very worried about his health the past two months. Today we got good news from the neurosurgeon as his latest CT Scan didn't show anything. I was so happy. Anyway I drove home and as I stepped up on the curb I noticed that my parking was sloppy. I decided to park the car again and when I stepped off the curb I took a pretty bad fall. I managed to keep my head from hitting the curb and the water meter concrete but my right foot hurts when I walk and the right knee hurts a little if I bend it too far. I managed to skin the top of my right foot and it was bleeding somewhat. I didn't think I could get up on my own (though I probably could have used the car to help but a kind neighbor helped me off of the asphalt and helped me up the steps to the front door. I think I'll be fine but I could be dead.

Reply to Kosh's Shadow in 2: Thanks, I usually am. The car is still parked badly but I don't feel like doing a better job of it.

Reply to @PBJ3 in 1: It was the left foot that got skinned, not the right.

Reply to Kosh's Shadow in 6: I'll try to be more careful. I'm 73. Right now I wish my husband's walker was here at the house. LOL

Reply to Kosh's Shadow in 10: On one of the groups at Facebook a lady from our town posted about her beautiful but psycho rooster! He loves her husband, even wants to sleep with him, but not so nice to their children and the lady (he charges them)..LOL She's trying to find a new home for him.

Reply to @PBJ3 in 12: We had a 5 lb toy poodle who would act similarly. With all men, but also with our 55 lb standard poodle, who would look at her as if to say "You're the size of my head!"
