Battleship Texas and Battleship Iowa both have great YouTube channels.

One of my favorite channels for naval history is Drachinifel. He will touch on things most documentaries and many histories skip over things like logistics, he has a 3 part series on the salvage after Pearl Harbor.

I haven't watched the Iowa channel, but I have watched Texas, Drachinifel, and Battleship New Jersey (link).

Just showed Oldest Boy the "Goin to Heaven on a Mule" sequence from "Wonder Bar."

Initial reaction? Think the audience in "Springtime for Hitler."

After he'd gotten over the initial shock he realized that that scene probably explains all of Mel Brooks.

Drachinifel is good, though sometimes his snark covers up historical inaccuracies. And his videos are too long.

You mean the 5 minute guide to warships is too long (like 50 minutes?)
