Too good not to repost.
Okay who had, "Acid-squirting land lobster from hell" on their 2021 Bingo Card?

All those rock stars we grew up with....

Brian Mays, Queen is 74 today.

Starts making a guy feel old.

Day One was pretty good. IT finally got my laptop working, but by that time it was too late to do anything useful.

Ballroom Blitz

If Mickey Katz had been around to do a parody, it would have been Ballroom Bris

I hope you're going to like this job!  It's nice that they got the laptop going too.

One of my favorite Queen songs - after all, how many songs are there about relativistic time dilation are there?

But while he'll come back a little younger than if he didn't take the flight, it would taka an atomic clock to measure the difference

BTW, relativistic time dilation has been measured at airline speeds! The Hafele-Keating experiment

Another science song, even if they don't get it right. I have the CD from when it came out. And the singer is hot.

Plus I have a Masters' in High Energy Physics

Damn if I can remember but an article their were working on a experiment with relativistic gravity.

We should be able to measure a time difference between the same point over the earth at different altitudes.

And the last science song, unless I come up with another

The GPS satellites need to compensate for General Relativity effects.

Spacetime - 3 spatial dimensions plus time, are related to three momentum directions plus energy. (This is one of the few places where Quantum Mechanics and relativity connect, via the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, in that we cannot measure both position and momentum, or time and energy simultaneously to precision better than the Heisenberg constant.

A long long time ago, I tried to calculate time dilation due to gravity using energy and special relativity. I got the formula for a black hole, but off by a factor of 2. So there is something not quite right in my calculations, but time dilation due to motion and energy are related, and for gravity, that means gravitational potential energy.

I just had an old friend pass away earlier today. Tonight I had a call from another old friend whom I hadn't heard from in three years.  It made my evening.  The two friends didn't know each other at all but both were my friends.
