I think I need a strong drink. The rear view mirror on the passenger side of my car fell off today. There's not a scratch on it but it was replaced once, maybe four years ago. It looks good enough to keep if I can find someone to try and reattach it.

Reply to @PBJ3 in 1: Sounds like one that is just glued or maybe bolted on, not like the power mirrors of today. Some car parts places can help. Out here, Advance Auto Parts is very helpful; I don't know if there are any where you are. (I had to replace the cabin air filter in my wife's car, so I brought it, and the name brand filter did not fit. They took it back and their house brand filter worked. Note I was in their parking lot at the time. Also, they checked the diagnostic code another time and told me what needed to be fixed; beyond me, but they checked it for free. And one time I bought a headlight bulb; they noticed it was blue and asked if the other one was; no, so they found a nearby store that had a plain one.) that store and the adult beverage store are the only stores that have not changed in that strip mall in over 20 years. Maybe there is a connection/

Reply to Kosh's Shadow in 5: My husband used to fix anything like this but he and I are much older and he stays in assisted living. He even has trouble with his iPhone these days and I was never mechanically inclined at all. LOL
