It’s called the “New Tavern” because it’s only 200 years old.

If you ever went to download something and found a big DOWNLOAD! button that had a bunch of crapware, and had to find the small real download link, blame some company that Unity has since bought. That company had gone sort of straight, but there was something I always found harder about Unity learning than Unreal. But every lesson for Unreal seems to have a 5 GB download and 20 minutes of rendering on my systems. So I am moving to use Pandas3D, which doesn't do as much for me but that is not a problem. 100% open source and free. Still have to draw 3d objects using Blender, also open source and free. A lot to learn. Maybe I'll get back to writing the game I started around 1979 using a Commodore Pet that was nowhere near capable of doing much, even using the character graphics. The game involves finding an abandoned castle, where the wizard that last inhabited it made a deal with a demon and reneged. The demon trapped him in the castle, alive for hundreds of years, until he could scam someone into releasing him, at great cost to the world. Player has to learn the magic of the world, and realize he should not free the wizard, but destroy him. Haven't worked out the details, and I probably will not be able to finish it, with all the drawing and design. But it can be fun.

As for illuminating drugs, when I was in college, we did Firesign Theatre-ish comedy, and one piece had running jokes about "illuminating drugs" - LED's, liquid crystals, xenon flashtubes. After all, your parents ate lightbulbs! I will post the logo in the Frontier

Reply to Occasional Reader in 6: That company was so small even the CEO took support calls. I had to hand one off to the Indian guy because a woman was trying to help her son (who would have been far more competent with computers) and she needed to send an attachment, but she used Hotmail. The support guy knew how to send an attachment. After the call was done, he said "I asked her if she had any windows open. She said No, I have the AC on."

Reply to Kosh's Shadow in 7: I had not used hotmail and he had so he knew. That software, that locked down computers for students taking tests, could also have been sold as a malware detector. 90% of the problems were due to malware that insinuated itself into the networking code and if shut down, broke the networking ability. Maybe I exaggerate, but it did find a lot.

Did she also wipe her server? With a cloth?
