I’ll have a white Russian, please.

RIP “Gorby”.  No, he’s not the one responsible for “ending the Cold War “as the idiot pundits are putting it; but he could have ordered the tanks in after the Berlin wall came down, and he did not. So he does deserve some credit for that.

The Artemis mission does have some good science, including measuring the effectiveness of radiation shielding.

Here is an article on that experiment

I have yet to see a mention of the Israeli connection in any other news service.

3 years ago a court case dumped a ton money into the school systems.

The money was specific earmark in the authorization for reduction in class sizes.

However every district increased teachers salaries, my district by a whopping 24%.

As Kent teachers' strike rolls on, anxiety mounts for students and their parents

Educators from Seattle Public Schools set to vote on strike authorization this weekend

Strike creates one-week delay for new elementary school in Port Townsend

Oh, yeah, it is illegal in WA for public employees to strike.

From my NY Times feed---the daily column they send in hopes of enticing me to subscribe:

To many liberals, taking Covid seriously — more seriously, at times, than the scientific evidence justified — became an expression of identity and solidarity. As one progressive activist tweeted last year, “The inconvenience of having to wear a mask is more than worth it to have people not think I’m a conservative.”

I have, of late, seen many people wearing a mask on their arm, right around the elbow---so that it's handy should they want/need it, but so they're not wearing it all the time.  They really should put a party insignia on it, and wear it as an armband.

They said it out loud.

Pretty clear early on it was more virtue signalling than anything else.
