She is definitely on the spectrum. The reason she looks 12 and not 16 is that she refused to eat for several years. Her father has said they allowed her to get caught up in climate change activism because it was the only thing that drew her out of her depression. So yes, a lot of people including her parents are exploiting a vulnerable child.

She also has a obsessive disorder from what I've read. The climate thing was, if not started by her parents, certainly fed by them. Instead of working to minimize her obsession they magnified it.

Knowing what happens during taping, I believe the explanation. The link has a clip of the replacement clue. The writers always have extra clues prepared for weird situations like this.

I agree. It didn't affect the outcome of the game. It was just a bad clue and they shouldn't have used it in the first place.
