A truism:

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.

Bass Pale Ale was a favorite of mine UNTIL I tasted Modelo Negra. It is yummy!

A round for the house on my tab (and a tip in the jar for the bartender)

Happy Valentines Day! The wife is zoning out watching a horror movie and I am unwinding from the drive to and from the big city. Tonight is just to recover from the idiocy of VD retail....

VD retail. Been there all day.  Glad to be home too away from it.

I worked retail in college - first in small appliances, then in juniors. Too much people contact for me.

No kidding, wife is the floral department head, and I work in the bakery. A special hell.

Back when I was selling boats I used to joke that I sold divorces.

When I explained the family finances to my divorce attorney, he asked, "Where's the boat?"

I knew someone who had a boat. He described it as a hole in the water into which you throw money.

I laughed.  So true in that department of 'customer service.'

Was the boat christened, 'FIAT?'

Made her day though. Had to take a product rack to the front end and passed her working her hands off in her department. Yelled (quietly), "Hey Sexy!" as I passed. On the return to her department I loudly said that I finally got a chance to use what I was taught on the sexual harassment training. >:)

Or, as we used to say, do you know why boats are always called "she"?

Because the rigging costs more than the hull.

I heard it was because it costs a lot to keep them in paint and powder.

I've never heard that version. Making Movies is one of my all-time favorite albums. Matt Nathanson also has a great cover.

Making Movies is one of the all time greatest albums, at least the first few songs.

I guess that's the original video? I've never seen it. I wore that album out.

I only have the DVD. Yes, that is the official (lame) video. Stupid wheel, "rocking" a the "rockaway" line, and so on.

But still great song.

The instrumental first moments . . . nice.

(btw, the ad before 'skip ad' was what seems to be Bloomberg's campaign slogan:

"Mike will get it done")

Well, it won't be quite like Sanders (Stick a fork in the US; it's done). But I didn't see that ad.

He is the closest the Dems have to a sane candidate still running - the political discourse has gone so far left that JFK would be a conservative Republican

Good one.

But I didn't see that ad.

(You have no control over what ads run.  I listened to the Youtube twice.  The first ad was for a product/service.)
