The biggest problem with panic buying in a deadly pandemic, a destructive hurricane or a in the aftermath of a bad date, is that some of the most important things can be forgotten and sorely missed while hunkered down in the storm/zombie apocalypse bunker. 

Really important things, like chocolate.

stock up on chocolate.

the worst that could happen is that you will have some chocolate in the pantry, which is not all that bad.
