Throw away the "harvest votes"--- Throw them away! ---apologies to "Night and Day" Sorry, lost the line breaks, which sucks with lyrics. But definitely needed to be shared today and noted as ++++++++,

Absolutely right, quoting from Stephen Kruiser who first quotes a fellow writer at PJ Media: Overnight in Portland and Vancouver, in what are literally attacks on democracy, "incendiary devices" — IEDs — were used to incinerate "hundreds of ballots" in two ballot boxes overnight in Portland, Ore., and Vancouver, Wash.
It's the 2024 election version of a dumpster fire. Some might dismiss this because the incidents occurred in places that aren't likely to go full MAGA anytime soon. That's not the point, though. What stinks here is that we ever got to the point where the powers that be thought it was OK to treat ballots with the same level of concern that we treat used clothing deposits. Actually, the clothing donation boxes that were all over my old neighborhood in Los Angeles were probably more secure than the ballot drop boxes. Bolding at the end mine.

More craziness: Monday's ruling from the Nevada Supreme Court on accepting mail-in ballots without a postmark and after the election, not only doesn't help the timeline, it also strikes a devastating blow to election integrity for years to come. "By removing the necessity for any proof that a ballot has passed through the postal service and thereby negating a critical ballot security measure, the Nevada Supreme Court has opened wide the doors to rampant ballot fraud," streiff aptly wrote at our sister site of RedState. He also included a copy of the court's opinion.

And then there is Pennsylvania: In a letter written to Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt, an attorney for the RNC and Trump campaign detailed the issues and demanded changes. "Voters consistently report to us that at Boards of Election Offices across the Commonwealth, they are told that 'computers are down,' the site will be closing early, they are not accepting any more voters, and that mail ballots will not be counted. Pennsylvanians deserve the same effortless experience boasted about by Governor Shapiro but county offices appear unable or unwilling to provide it," attorney Linda Kerns wrote.
I've been quoting liberally from Kruiser here in these posts to show that despite the giddiness I'm seeing about Kamala's missteps, they don't matter. Ballot counting matters.

The real threat to the Republic is the real and on ongoing insurrection against our voting process. Motor Voter, with no verification. Mass registration drives with questionable verification. Voter rolls which are not maintained. Mail in balloting without security measures. Courts ruling that known non-citizens cannot be removed from rolls. Courts ruling that essentially all ballots must be counted regardless of provenance. The list goes on.....

The list goes on..... This is what gets me, despite the Supreme Court confirming that only citizens may vote!

Regarding the above comments, again---state election boards are the greatest exemplar of the adage, "You had ONE job...[and failed to do it]." That these boards, which merely have to oversee elections every two or four years, cannot/will not keep voting rolls clean, accurate, and up-to-date, cannot guarantee functioning voting machines/accurate computers (ugh!) at the polling places, cannot accurately count votes in a brief and timely manner, etc., argues that they should, in the main, be brutally purged of the incompetent non-functionaries who pretend to work in them.

I wonder how many of these board positions are seen as handouts of political patronage. Any idea of that, buzz?

Reply to vxbush in 11: These boards have long been target by dems for subversion, whether elected or appointed. Take for example one Dean Logan, who ran the King Co elections board during 2004 Gegoire v. Rossi fraud fisco. Then then went to MN and advised the dems on how to work the system for the Franken v. Coleman equally questionable election. He's now in LA running that dumpster fire of an election system. I don't have any direct evidence but I see the same cadre of people, in political history, as in the Soros DAs. So I concluded that election boards have been subjected to the same manipulation.

In England, November 5th is Guy Fawkes day, when fireworks are set off and Guy Fawkes, who tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament, is burnt in effigy. The verse said on, and leading up to, that day is: Please to remember The Fifth of November, The Gunpowder Treason and plot; I see no reason why Gunpowder Treason Should ever be forgot. In the US, this year, November 5th is Election Day, where it is already obvious that the Democrats will try to skew the vote and pad the count to ensure that the Republican nominee for president does not obtain a clear victory. The verse to be said on that day, and the days that follow, is: Please to remember The Fifth of November When vote fraud tried to prove what was not. I see no reason why Democrats' treason Should ever be forgot.
