The protests the LLLeft has been able to pull together against Trump and the Republican government isn't as impressive as had been in the past. I'm sure part of that is because there isn't a free flowing of money from USAID to leftist organizations, and those who runs the think tanks and societies are hoarding the money for themselves. Of course, there has been at least one instance where the press has vastly overinflated the attendance numbers at these protests while reality on the ground has been a very different story.

Townhall on the Chinese spy balloon: According to two sources familiar with the investigation, the balloon contained advanced technology that Beijing may have used to monitor unsuspecting Americans. Military analysts who examined the wreckage of the Chinese surveillance balloon found that it was equipped with American-made satellite communication modules and advanced sensors sourced from at least five different U.S. companies. A short burst messaging module called Iridium 9602, a Virginia-based satellite company, was reportedly among the technical equipment recovered, which was readily available to buy on the internet. A Chinese patent indicated that Beijing had planned how to use American satellite technology to control the spy balloons and gather sensitive data. So track the purchases and put the straw purchasers on a do-not-sell list.

How badly is FEMA run? This badly: FEMA even approved a grant of $1.1 billion despite it only being supported by only a single piece of paper with no itemized costs, the Jan. 30 audit by the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Inspector General found. The request was also “not prepared by a licensed professional engineer or cost-estimating professional,” according to the 36-page report.
Basically, it sounds like the usual government non accountability.
The article suggests FEMA should be disbanded and the National Guard used instead, along iwht state emergency management divisions.
