The Democrats have to be in charge of everything, even what you are allowed to put in your garbage. They may be worried about things that shouldn't end up in landfills like batteries and oil, right? Not exactly. It all stems from a new mandate that the city council passed in 2023 that requires residents of all five NYC boroughs to participate in a mandatory composting program. While the new rule went into effect in October, the city announced that as of April 1, 2025, it will be cracking down on people who don't comply.

Reply to vxbush in 4: Same as usual...Milwaukee & Madison ran out of ballots (how can that happen?), power outages (we've had some bad local ice storms) temporarily shutting down voting stations; nothing out of the ordinary for Wisconsin. I keep waiting for someone/anyone to shout, "April's Fools!". At least they passed ID requirement to vote. It's in our constitution now. My county voted 80% for the Republican candidates, at least I've got that; but now you see why I want Illinois to claim Milwaukee and Madison. Believe me, the rest of the state won't miss them and will even thank you for taking them off our hands.

Reply to Alice in Dairyland in 12: Just to show you how stupid these people (Milwaukee & Madison) are, they voted for ID to vote. They voted for Crawford (Dem supported Supreme Court Justice candidate). She campaigned on not needing ID to vote. Go figure.

I don't disagree on that point. But the point of that article is that the government was instituting draconian methods to get compostable material separated out. They thought we were in such dire straits that they had to use manpower and institute fines to force people to compost. Insane.

Such clear fraud should make them feel ashamed for being so bad at this. But I don't want more Democrat enclaves added to Illinois. It's bad enough with Chicago.

Make it sounds like Voter ID passes, and then when it goes before the Supreme Court (which the Democrats will ensure it will), make sure they've got the court set up to strike it down.

Not up to a judge, it's in the state constitution now. Can only be changed by three referendums passing to change the constitution from what I understand.

Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), is a severe mental health condition characterized by the presence of two or more distinct personality states (alters) that alternate in controlling the individual's behavior and thoughts. Explains a lot about Milwaukee. I believe some of these people have three or four identities, if not more!

There are still quite a few power outages in northeast WI (ice storms) yet. I wonder if those folks were even able to vote yesterday. I don't think it would have changed the outcome, but it would have showed a closer margin.
