Ilhan Omar Dishes on What the Dems Will Do If They're Back in the Saddle After the 2026 Elections

MRC TV summed it up by reporting that Omar, who declared in 2024 that she was “here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the U.S. system,” toldthe Minneapolis rallygoers that “if Democrats were in control of the House and Senate they would grind actual work to a halt in Washington, D.C. with hearings and investigations about nothing specific.”

That’s right. Instead of offering any positive program to improve the well-being of Americans, if the Democrats took the House and Senate, it would just be all Orange Man Bad, all the time. No one seems to have noticed, or cared if he or she or xe did notice, that it was Kamala Harris’ failure to articulate much of a program beyond “Trump is evil” that doomed the Democrats in 2024. 

I'll give her points for honesty but nothing else.

While Congressional Democrats Were In El Salvador, Bernie Moreno Went to Israel

... Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-OH) has meanwhile gone to Israel to further highlight how Hamas has been holding an American citizen, Edan Alexander, hostage for over 564 days now.

Moreno shared that he was in Hostage Square, before calling out his Democratic colleagues. "While you have Democrat senators that are going to countries like El Salvador, trying to get back foreign nationals who illegally entered our country, I'm here to show support for our greatest ally, which is Israel." He also issued that reminder about Alexander. "And I want to remind all Americans that we still have a hostage in Hamas captivity that should be immediately returned." 

And the media can't be bothered to mention this, of course.

There is no direct Constitutional stipulation on citizens voting. However Federal Law stipulates only citizens can vote, as well as many states.

I think the first line of the Constitution is crystal clear. "We The People of the United States", every thing in the Constitution applies only to the people subject to the Constitution, i.e. citizens. However as we have found, the left has profound reading disabilities.

Here  is a fascinating, detailed, and disturbing report on the multiple intelligence and military failures that allowed October 7 to happen.

Some of the allegations here simply beggar belief, such as the failure of the IDF to adequately train or even arm many of the troops who were stationed right at the border with Gaza.

The author, Jonathan Foreman, used to run with Christopher Hitchens.  (And on a personal note, I knew the guy, to a limited extent, back in my New York City days.

Good article, although it felt like he jumped around a lot on topics--at least, a lot more than I would have liked. 

Unfortunately this is making me think of how bad our armed forces must be, given the last four years of the Biden administration.
