In yesterday's #12 Occasional Reader said: Fun with machine guns: Today I fired full auto versions of the HK MP5K, a suppressed MP5, and the HK 53. Nice! Which one did you like best, and why? (There's a part of me that is partial to the Tim Taylor "more power" school of thought, but perhaps your experience is different.)

David Hogg might lose his job after all. As Scott Pinsker put it: "The same party that piously lectured Americans over the 'sanctity of democracy' has denied the results of its own election!"

Reply to vxbush in 4: And of course, I love the fact that George Clooney wrote his op-ed because Biden didn't know who he was and had to be told repeatedly. I think that man needs an award from the RNC for telling the truth.

Uh oh--Letitia James has another potential scandal involving how she handled her father's estate. Apparently the mortgage for her father's property was created assuming she and her father were "husband and wife." Oops.

Reply to vxbush in 1: Suppressed HK MP5 is more fun that should be allowed. Depends on application, guns are like tools, each one has it's own role.

Reply to vxbush in 3: Not familiar with LOC rules, but generally equal access regardless of .... should cover it. You know if they denied access to the ABC mafia we'd hear about it.

Reply to vxbush in 7: I think a conviction a fine of $355 million payable to Donald J. Trump fits the crime.

Reply to vxbush in 2: Don't hold your breath on this one, I'm certainly not. Not only is this in Wisconsin, but it's in Milwaukee (also known as little Chicago). I'm sure they'll discover she had a really, really good reason for sneaking him out the back door of her courtroom.

Reply to JCM in 16: Oh, it's much worse. Attorneys for Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan argue in their motion that her conduct on the day in question amounted to directing people's movement in and around her courtroom, and that she enjoys legal immunity for official acts she performs as a judge...Dugan's dismissal motion also accuses the federal government of violating Wisconsin's sovereignty by disrupting a state courtroom and prosecuting a state judge. The above is from an Associated Press story. She's a real piece of work. Not only is she above the law, the Federal government is violating her rights!
