Star Harvard business professor stripped of tenure, fired for manipulating data in studies on dishonesty

A renowned Harvard University professor was stripped of her tenure and fired after an investigation found she fabricated data on multiple studies focused on dishonesty.

Francesca Gino, a celebrated behavioral scientist at Harvard Business School, was let go after the school’s top governing board determined she tweaked observations in four studies so that their findings boosted her hypotheses, GHB reported.

Notice the word choice in that second paragraph. She "tweaked", she didn't lie or fabricate. She just "tweaked." Harvard hasn't revoked tenure for a professor since the 1940's, per el gato malo. But Harvard thought it was serious enough that they fired her. Just a bit too much spin for my taste.

The Democrats think they have a winning idea in creating a shadow cabinet "to challenge Trump's agenda."

I've thought for years that we actually should have shadow ministers from the other party to be present in all discussions that occur by the administration, much the way the British have this. My hope was that this would prevent most of the acrimony that occurs between the two parties.

Silly me. That assumes both sides want to work together and have the best interest of the US at heart. The uniparty wants to have the dialectic in power so they can fundraise from it, raise their name recognition on media programs, and exalt themselves over this country.

A great response to King Charles' start of his Canada speech noting the Canadian land acknowledgement:

If Trump really wants Canada to become the 51st state, maybe he should start negotiations with the Algonquin Anishinaabeg people rather than talking with Mark Carney. Charles’ words, in any case, demonstrate anew the irresponsibility and illogic of leftist intellectual fads and dogmas.

Seattle and it's incompetent DEI mayor is in the news.

FBI to probe claims of 'targeted violence' against religious groups after evangelicals' protest in Seattle

Mayor Bruce Harrell, a Democrat, released a statement after the weekend demonstration, blaming the Christian rally and infiltrating "anarchists" for the violence breaking out at the counter-protest.

The mayor also apologized to the alphabet mafia.

The most fun way to view “land acknowledgments” is as a brag.

“I’d like to begin my address with a completely gratuitous reminder to the Indians that, yes, we took this land from you, and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it.”

I believe that is what’s called a “Kinsley Gaffe”.

Because the Crazy Green elites would LOVE to see all of the rest of us living in Mumbai-type slums.

The phrase "He's a proper Charlie," meaning "He's a real idiot" has been a catchphrase in England going back many decades----indeed, back to long before then-prince Charles was in any way newsworthy.

However, the current British monarch is, truly, a proper Charlie.
