DDDemocrats whined because Trump had too much power (although almost everything that they have taken him to court for, he has won). DDDemocrats whined that he didn't get congressional approval to do things and that he should have deferred to them. So when he does exactly that with the One Big Beautiful Bill, they immediately go out and find the first judge who will enact a temporary restraining order to continue funding Planned Parenthood. Because apparently that must be funded despite a law just enacted that said the exact opposite. It's just a TRO, but how do you expect this judge to act on this when it does come to argue it in court?

Reply to vxbush in 1: "Due Process" only when the left agrees with it. The left only cares about getting and maintaining control.

Times of India is this a signal that India might delay reporting? There have been delays in this that make me suspicious. the importance of being public with crash investigations is obvious, flaws in the aircraft or maintenance procedures need to be exposed.

Reply to Occasional Reader in 4: To the BBC the fall of a totalitarian ally is a bad thing. Can't have evil liberal democratic regimes winning now can we?

Troubling indicators out of Russia. Russian economy meltdown as potato prices soar 167% as 'recession' warning sent The Russian President admitted in May: "It turns out that we don't have enough potatoes. I spoke with [President of Belarus] Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko. He said, 'We've already sold everything to Russia'." If they are admitting to a potato shortage what other critical food stuffs are lacking? Putin is acting more and more like the old regimes, and food shortage can lead to unwise decisions.

Reply to JCM in 7: Boy, the Russians have lost the ability to handle things. "Good news, Comrades! The potato ration is going up to 2 lbs a month from 1 Kilo!" (To save the trouble, 1 Kilo = 2.2 lbs)
