Is this standard operating procedure in Dem cities? 

White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Social Media Stud (I might have made up that last part) Stephen Miller said — alongside Trump in the Oval Office Monday — that the administration uncovered a "massive scandal" [in DC] involving a crime cover-up just as audacious as you can imagine. According to Miller, Metro reportedly police went so far as to file actual homicides as "accidents instead of murders."

So having police do their jobs is too hard, so we'll lie on the statistics. And I'm supposed to believe that is a winning combination. How long has this been going on, and how does it impact the recent stats about a week without murders?

And so the jobs won't have to be as high-paying.

I had one interview years ago that clearly was so the company could say they interviewed Amerians but couldn't find one who fit so they had to bring in H1b person.

It was a Python position, but most of my experience is C/C++. It is a joke among programmers that C/C++ coders don't know how to write loops in Python (you don't want explicit loops because Python is interpreted, and therefore slow). Python has "list comprehension" to do work essentially in a loop but internally so it is fast. I knew that and my code worked fine. Coding test passed. Oops - they said I didn't format my comments well enough for a senior person.

I didn't want to work there, so I didn't push it. Financial company (sleazy, finding a way to work around some regulations) and a 90 minute each way commute, at best.

In Seattle Crime went down. While everyone is like, what, huh? What they do here is they don't just crime reports as the source data. They use what is charged by prosecutors. Burglaries? No charges. Violent beating, plead to simple assault. Even in certain gun crimes they plead it down or reduce charges.

Last Friday in Jackson Hole, Federal Reserve Chairman Jay Powell finally – and grudgingly – admitted what the Trump team has been saying all along: tariffs don’t fuel inflation. 

The question mark is because I suspect Powell is lying is scrawny Keynesian ass off to take the heat off The Fed.

I would give WA, CA and all the other States that give DLs to illegals 6 months to re-issue all CDLs with proper documentation and meeting all the requirements. If they don't all that States CDLs are invalid for interstate commercial driving and all DOT funds get shut off.

Ahhh, maybe I should clarify that. They were scheduled for demolition, and they were practice burns for the fire department. Looking at burn patterns for various types of accelerants and practice putting out fires.
