The song is a little...weird, but the lead-in ad, with Mandy Patinkin doing an appeal on behalf of Gazan relief, was really disturbing.  Mandy Patinkin's uncle, a family friend, made aliyah with his wife in 1950; he ended up becoming president of the Hebrew University.  I and my family stayed with them in Jerusalem in 1961, and I broke my arm on their steps while horsing around with his son.  I can only imagine what Mandy's late uncle would think of his doing appeals for Gazan relief.

I think the ad I saw was for the Democrats.

There is really something wrong with the "entertainment" world. Something like 1000 "celebrities" and entertainment signed a petition to tell the industry not to work with Israel or Israelis. To their credit, Paramount condemned the petition. 

As for those who signed it, I hope they have to work in the Arab film industry to get any work. I guess we'll see more professional Pallywood productions.

Blog fixes status update.

I have not had as much time to work on it as I would like. (I will make a Frontier post when the other stuff is done, good, but more work than expected)

However, I do know what the problem is, and how to fix it.

I also got it to run on my new development system, and in a closer environment to production systems. (Pain in the behind getting SQL server to work right)

However, the new packages (various components that make writing the blog a lot easier) had to be updated, and the new ones don't work the same as the old, so I need to fix those issues.

Although I think if the login link is in a different place, it won't be a problem, as long as the blog works better.

So getting somewhere but not done.
