I've been called heathen by a local "Republican" because I said that the behavior of the children's parents was a greater teaching tool than posting the Commandments in classrooms.

(And yes, it comes from parts of Islam, and 10-15 years ago on CC, I was being threatened with violence because I was defining which parts of Islam were guilty and which "were not".  The commonest idea on CC at that time was that all parts of Islam were.  The question is, is that still a fact?)

Welcome to today's America.  It's not just the Beltway.  It's common across America's street culture.

One has to gut-level know what America was about 80 years ago, to understand what's happened.

Look at the Kinsey Reports of the Forties, what they concluded and the how and why behind them, and the reaction they got from the intellectualist elites.  Then Masters and Johnson and the entire Stonewall/Gay Lib scene.  THAT is still today's America, just shifted into different mediums and purposes, and also into far-different political dimensions.

A decade or so ago, someone on America's old-school right said, look at what the Left's doing now.  In 20 or 30 years, the Right will be doing it too.

Heathen

I'm a heathen

That guy told me so because I dared to speak

And I showed him just how his argument's weak

So he sputtered his displeasure at my cheek

Any attempt today to link "Conservatism" to behavior is met with a Bircher-ite screech.

40 years ago, the Left said it as ... "Keep your laws off my body"

Today, a certain faction of the Right is saying "Keep your opinions off our behavior - especially his."

(Buckley kept the Birchers out of CPAC.  IIRC, a year or three after he died, they co-hosted the annual CPAC conference in Dallas.  They were heavily involved in the 2020 election campaign.)

Today's "Science" is devolving into a social media racket.  Data isn't important.  Publicity is everything.

Research Neil Ferguson of Imperial College-London, especially his extremely-early "computer study" contribution to the COVID fraud.

You'll find it somewhere in the archives at   https://dailysceptic.org/

The only reason Ferguson still exists is because English horsemen have LONG SINCE lost the fine art of training their animals in the highly-disciplined art of drawing and quartering.

A cult. You have to agree with the cult or you are a HERETIC DENIER.

"Climate change" is still a big one. "The observations don't match the model." "DENIER. We have to make the measurements match the model!"

Real science tries to figure out what is wrong with the model to match data.

"Climate change" people are the pseudo-scientific versions of those fake prophets who were predicting when the world would end.

Yes, there is a lot of it that's systemic.  It was created that way by the 2nd and 3rd Caliphs in order to motivate their empire-building armies. Today's Quran was published by the 3rd Caliph and all other versions were ordered destroyed.  The organization (to over-simplify it) of the present Quran is (to put it most-mildly) obviously "odd".  Even irrational.

Over the 14 centuries, a lot of Muslims have been killed because they opposed the systemization.  A Sudanese fellow named Taha, British-trained industrial engineer, executed after a show-trial, his corpse helicoptered into the desert by the Sudanese Army and buried in an unmarked grave.

But all of that's just history, and who gives a damn .........

Yeah, whatthell.  Opinions are what matter.

You assume that Revo was basically right.

You haven't a clue as to what else I believe, and what else I've written over the past 15 years.  Part of it was a heavily-researched novel which involved the slaughter (literally) of Hamas, Hezbollah, the Taliban and al Qaida.  It also involved the killing of about 200 of 2500 ultra-nationalist Israeli Jews who attempted to violently storm the Damascus Gate with the intention of destroying the Muslim Quarter of the Old City. You will probably say that I'm lying about all that.  Go fuck yourself.

-------

And yes, if that comment causes me to get scrubbed from the blog, then it will prove to me the question which caused me to return -- what does the majority of you think?

I hope you don't, but that is of course up to you.

I'd suggest that the "Muslim Quarter of the Old City" is largely extant due to the 20-odd years of Muslim occupation of that part of the then-divided Jerusalem, which---as I understand it---had scars on the external doorframes of its houses because the Muslims who occupied that area for that period had pried the mezuzot off the house doors.  You may have other information, but that's what I've read; Jerusalem was, by all accounts, a majority-Jewish city under the Ottomans, and at that time what is now called "East Jerusalem/the Old City" was the only "Jerusalem" there was; "West Jerusalem," i.e., the part that Israel was able to keep following the War of Independence, was built by the Jewish/Zionist settlers, but the "Old" part had also been Jewish before Jordan occupied it in 1948.

Again, if you've other information, I'd be happy to read it.

2) Did anyone ask about the various anomalies that make it different from a comet? (Not that I can find). Where is the media in this?

I was referring to the novel, which is about 1700 pages long, formatted as a motion picture script.  It's rooted in science fiction, but the "science" is well-thought through, rationally explained in a companion document of about 150 pages.  It's purpose isn't the sci-fi itself.  It's a critique of present day planet Earth political and societal cultures.

Chapter 1 begins in a scene 7500 years ago in a distressed interstellar colony on the planet we now know as Mars, then shifts to 1942 and progresses to the spring of 2004.

What happens is that 23 million people on "Mars" are isolated by accident 7500 years ago, and are "discovered" by an Earth mission to that planet using the shuttle Atlantis which has been refitted with an anti-gravity engine.  We learn that the galaxy has several hundred intelligent races living in an interlinked, commercially-integrated civilizational "system".  Other galaxies do too, all across the universe, but they're spread so thin that telescopes on Earth haven't a chance of spotting them.

(Travel from one side of this galaxy to the other takes four days.  From here to what we call Andromeda takes 19 days, takeoff to landing.  The "science" is well-detailed, and they don't use rockets.  These hundreds of alien peoples have been out in intersellar space for tens to hundreds of thousands of years, and consider each other to be "kinfolk".  There is a long-established galactic government, but each people runs its own affairs.  Most have settled scores and hundreds of barren planets, made fertile by "habitation" technologies.)

In November 2008, a secretly-built interstellar ship (constructed by Earth friends of those "Martians") reaches the home word of those people over in the outboard galactic spiral arm.  Within hours, naval warships show up here in "Edae System" to establish security for the long-assumed destroyed colony (which, stunningly, is discovered to still be alive.)  After 4 1/2 years, the 23 million have allies on Earth and the Navies take them under their wing too.

The impact of an extremely mature civilization on Mars has begun to make serious changes in Earth people's ways of thinking and behaving.  Among others, an Islamic Reform Movement has started, with members in various migrant communities around the globe.  (The details on that come from 20 years of research using both Muslim and Western texts, and I understand that many of you here will call it fakery.  I don't consider the idea of a debate here on that subject to be worthwhile.  I only debate with those with open minds.)

In late 2008, early 2009, the dangers to the residents on Mars lie in Islamist ("ist") radicalism, and then in the globe-spanning presence of the criminal mindset.

Iran't theocracy is the first to fall, in early December 2008.  On Christmas Eve 2008, three score heavy warships above Lebanon, Syria and Gaza/West Bank slaughter Hezbollah, Hamas, and the other jihadist militias in the Levant.  The Assad Regime is put on tenderhooks.

By March 4, 2009, the naval forces in Edae System include 1000 heavy warships from all across the galaxy (and some from the two Magellanic Clouds.)  At 2000 Zulu (Greenwich Mean Time) on the 4th, strikes begin in far-eastern India, then sweep across South Asia into Kashmir, Pakistan, Afghanistan ... across Africa and Europe, and into the United States.  Some 170,000 Muslim jihadis are killed, corpses and weapons collected and flung into the Sun.

Many of those interstellar warships are between a quarter and a half-mile long.  Their non-electromagnetic "sensor" (radar) systems can see through walls and overhead rock, and can see how many sheets of paper a man uses when he finishes his stuff on the toilet.  Their lasers can hit one man in a crowd without harming anyone else.

The King of Jordan is involved in creating a new Middle East, which involves an absolute galactic guarantee of Israel's existence, and also the eventual establishment of a "Republic of Palestine" (once the citizens-to-be mature into that role.)  The King recruits Barghouti and the Navies force Israel to release him to naval parole.  (THAT should piss you off, but Barghouti either abides by naval rules, or dies.)

Those peoples are incredibly mature, but their everyday behavior between each other is utterly ordinary.  They are "family".  Their companies and universities and tourists have gone back and forth for tens of thousands of years. .... They know how to raise their children.

I could say more, but it wouldn't make a bit of difference.  You are fixated on your own thoughts, and all that doesn't mean anything.

The NASA and JPL commentaries regarding photos taken by the Mars orbiters (in decades WAY past) were knee-jerk something-or-another.

Those photos went into building the historical sci fi roots of my story -- that there had been life there - that the photos showed what could be evidence.

(Forget asking me to describe it.)

It wasn't "life" -- not per se -- but find an orbital photo of something called a "crenelated tube".  I think you'd have to get into the original photo-bank, what was available on the Web 25+ years ago.  (I"ve got the photo somewhere, but have forgot where it is on the hard drive.

The JPL jumped backwards and upside-down through hoops to explain the photo as just an ordinary rock formation.

A novel is fiction.  See my #31.

That deals with historical facts, but modifies some by putting them into the novel's fictional setting.

When one gets a thousand enormous, caterpillar and Baset-State-Warp powered interstellar warships above Planet Earth, killing 200,000 radical jihadis who want to carry their purified "ALLAH AKBAR" religious ideology to the evil alien fourth planet, and then the stars ... that tends to be fiction.

The problem is, if you post something from your novel, withought saying it is from there, it seems to be something you said actually occurred

So, I can say, there really were aliens at Roswell, and they infiltrated the government, and industry, especially the entertainment industry, to get us to kill ourselves off so they could take over Earth, and unless I say this was from the novel I never finished, it could sound like I am stating fact.

OK, so 3I/Atlas has all the colonists because the aliens thought we would have killed ourselves off by now..

Just make it clear where the post comes from.
