In yesterday's #3 Occasional Reader said: Well, HERE’S some cheerful holiday reading. 😬

You got that from Instapundit, right? I saw that post late yesterday but didn't get a chance to read the article. Can we say yet again, "Thanks, Biden"?

I truly hope the author is right and that the arrests going on now are preventing this from happening, but given the number of illegal aliens in the country at this moment, it would be all too easy for one to slip through and cause havoc.

Republicans are planning a proposal to put forth in the Senate that would end Obamacare subsidies and push health savings accounts instead. That's a good start. The other bit of good news is that the would require states that use Medicaid funding with illegal aliens to verify citizenship or eligible immigration status before adding that person to Medicaid. While that is a measure that should be taken, do we honestly believe Democrat-controlled states will actually abide by the letter of the law?

No, no, no. It had to be alien technology. The ancients were smart enough to figure out how to build incredible structures. It had to be alien technology. The chem-trails made us forget all that technology so the lizard overlords under Denver airport can control us.

That's pretty dang cool. Hopefully the material scientists are incorporating that tech into our current concrete so bridges last longer than 50 years.

Up here in the Great Northwet we have the Pineapple Express weather system. Bringing warm wet weather patterns continuously from the tropics. Several days now of greater than 1" of rain per day in the Puget Sound region. All rivers are in significant flood stages. Me and mine are warm safe and dry. Out house sits far from a river, on a local hill. All the streets are down hill from his. The west slope is all the way to the Sound so we don't have to worry. Sea levels have to rise 500 feet for us to worry.

The article notes that the scientist in question has a company doing exactly that.

WCRB, Boston classical station, is still begging.

Today's "gift" is a t-shirt. "A great value at $10/month"

Yeah, right. Should say "I gave WCRB $120 and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"

Wait a bit and you get one at Goodwill, for 25 cents and people will think you are a good person donating $120.

The U.S. has seized a Venezuelan oil tanker, President Donald Trump announced Wednesday, marking a sharp escalation in tensions with Caracas.

"We've just seized a tanker on the coast of Venezuela," Trump said at a White House roundtable. "Large tanker, very large. Largest one ever seized action. And, other things are happening. So you'll be seeing that later. And you'll be talking about that later with some other people."

Starving Maduro of cash.
