Imagine If the Left Took a Break From Marinating in Rage-Hate

We have these sad losers in our town — perhaps there are some in yours, too — who gather on the corner of a main street every Saturday to wave signs at passing cars for a few hours. The signs are adorned with spittle-flecked ravings about "kings" and "fascism" and so on, and someone usually has a Temu version of one of those President-Trump-as-a-baby balloons. And whenever we drive past these lost souls, we say to one another, “Imagine if they spent that energy on helping someone.”

Wouldn’t it be amazing if the left just took a break from its roiling perpetual hatred of Donald Trump and his supporters? Can you imagine the sense of community, the societal improvements, the prosperity and trust — nay, even quaint notions such as joy and togetherness — such a movement would bring?

But no. The hate is bone-deep with this crowd. As a shark must keep swimming to stay alive, so must these people actively hate.

They speak of love for those who are hurt by these actions of the Trump administration, and yet all they do is spew anger and hatred. I can't be in every place at once, but do these folks ever donate their time? We know some of them are being paid to attend these events. Do they ever stop to think about how they can personally help someone? 

I think I know the answer.

I don't think it's over......Forty Days After January Massacres, Iranians Pour Into the Streets, Defying the Government

The article explains how 40 days is a set amount of morning in Iran, and now that 40 days have passed, the people are going back out in to the streets....to celebrate birthdays, weddings, and life events their family members never got to experience after being killed by Iranian forces. 

And Iran is looking for the people who have birdshot scars so they know who was attending the protests last month. They seemed determined to kill anyone who was willing to stand up. 

But at some point, they have to realize that there are more of the resisters than they have military and police.

I'm not sure I buy this. Russia will be perfectly happy to sell more oil to China. What am I missing here?

I hope and pray if we do move against the Mad Mullahs it is coordination with the Persian Resistance. Just hitting targets, or taking out the Mullahs without a plan for after is the same mistake we've been making forever.

They can't act on their rage. There is no there, there other that feelings. There is nothing to act on. The only thing they have is feelings of virture.

I knew someone who could solve Rubik's cube quickly. Initially, he'd write out the math, iirc group theory, and then make the moves. Eventually, he didn't have to do the math first.
