Why must Republicans in the federal chambers demonstrate how much of the uniparty they are and how much they hate Trump--and us by extension? A contingent of House Democrats and Republicans have banded together to advance an amnesty bill that they definitely want you to think is not actually an amnesty. 20 Republicans so far have joined in as co-sponsors on the bill, betraying the agenda of the Trump administration and the will of the electorate. At least one on X took offense to this, writing "the bill....is written in Spanish." Well, no, it's not. It's the easy-to-remember acronym used to give the bill a shorthand name. So if Republicans complain about the title of the bill, that will be an easy way for Democrats to call them stupid.
Of course, I'm already upset at the Republicans who have signed on to this bill.

In #7 JCM said: On the radio on my commute, I heard that Iran was claiming Israel violated the ceasefire by striking Hezbollah. Well, it sounds like the announcer at least acknowledge that it was a claim, not reality.
