So what does the world have to do with Star Trek?

Weird WIred Magazine thinks the IDF can vaporize Gazans (link) - set phasers to disintigrate, Moshe!

In particular, and most alarming for a publication which prides itself on both rigorous investigation and technological expertise, is his allegation that the bodies of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip “have been effectively ‘evaporated’ by extreme-heat munitions, leaving no recoverable bodies.”

Obviously the phasers were given to the IDF by that Jooo, SPock, or Leonard Nimoy.

Ron DeSantis finishes his terms as governor of Florida in January 2027. What's next for the governor? Turns out he wants a job in the Trump administration, but not just any job. He's thinking Secretary of Warn, Supreme Court, or Attorney General. 

I don't see him doing better than Hegseth, despite Hegseth's issues. I don't think he's smart enough for the Supreme Court, but I'll be happy to be told otherwise. AG? Again, I just don't see it.
