So Platner is trying to choose who will take over for his campaign, when he has absolutely no leverage to do so. I didn't see this until this morning, but Matt Margolis at PJ Media shared Dana Perino's take on this, and it is brutal. It was pretty obvious even before the primaries that if Platner made it to November, he was going to lose. He just had too much baggage. But he won the primaries, and now things are worse. 

Who has the popcorn? I could use some today.

The next case to make it to the Supreme Court? Just The News: 

A federal judge in Florida on Tuesday ordered the Department of Homeland Security to restore some of the key features of its Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements system, which states use to verify citizenship and immigration status for voter rolls.

The ruling overturns a D.C. judge's ruling, who determined that the SAVE system's features, including a feature that allowed workers to verify citizenship status through a resident's social security number, violated the Social Security Act and Privacy Act by improperly aggregating and using Americans’ personal data.

My point is that the phrase says ... one's content of character, one's behavior, can be anything at all, whatever one wants.

If that is the case, why do we have places of worship?  Why do religious studies?

Those who promote the idea are saying that spiritual faith is ultimately meaningless.  In a way, they are saying it should be, because God doesn't give a damn.

In the Sixties, Bob Dylan alluded to Judas Iscariot having had God on his side.  That is present-day America - very "Sixties".  That is what the Web has become - if it feels good, do it - let it all hang out.

If God uses sinful men, then is there any sort of "right versus wrong"?  No, there's not.  Not in your world.

I'm old school, pre-Sixties "conservative".  In that sense, I'm unlike any of you.  And if I'm that, then why hasn't someone had the cojones to quit yelling "troll" and simply block me?

A newspaper says not okay to verify that the people voting are citizens, and a court had to tell Homeland Security that it could continue to vet citizenship and immigration after a lawsuit was filed. We have a problem, and it seems to always circle around voting and elections.
