There are reports Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is no longer in Iran, but no word on where he went.

Personally, I think it is the place run by the guy with a pitchfork and tail.

I read up on a lot of news this weekend, but I didn't hear anything about this. Your supposition isn't that far off base in terms of who really runs things there. It's hard to imagine a more horrible regime.
