I have found McAfee blocking me from opening email from Jerusalem News Syndicate, and it blocked a receipt from Mesorah Heritage Foundation from being downloaded.

And in both cases, their tech support was totally incompetent,

Given it blocks email from Jewish sources, I think its email scanner has antisemitic tendencies.

Removing McNazi and replacing it. Close to the end of subsccription anyway.

My impression is that McAffee has been riding on the coattails of its early success. It seems to be woefully underpowered these days and more like malware.

It is popular only because they pay to have it preinstalled on many computers. 

I also had trouble when they combined subscriptions - that changed the license so all installed copies lost the license, and the software had to be redownloaded because the download includes the license info. Only their server went down just after the licenses were deactivated. Hours before I could get AV protection back. Plus it constantly nags.

Dishwasher died this weekend. Have ordered a new one from a local appliance store we've bought from before, but the installation is a way off.

We did get our money's worth out of the old one. Sears Kenmore, built by Whirlpool, in November 2010, based on the serial number. Guessing from the sound, the water pump is stuck; at least the drain pump still worked.

We got that because the previous one wan't cleaning well, which turned out to be due to removal of phosphates from the detergent, but when it was removed, found a small leak, so it had to go anyway.

Wife still workong so she paid. KitchenAid, very nice unit, but the controls are on the top of the door so you can't see the display while it is running; have to go by one light on the front.

Me, I'm having some trouble with my allegedly new, improved service from Verizon, after ditching Spectrum thanks to experiencing two weeks of intermittent service outages.   I increasingly believe that current internet "service" is like the "one neck" that Caligula wished the Roman people had.

Yes. They were one of the first companies that created software to protect your computer from malware and viruses back in the 90's. Of course, the guy who started the company went insane, so he's not running things anymore, but they really didn't stay up to date with computer issues after he lost his marbles. There are other much better companies out there, MalwareBytes being one of them.

McAfee is probably the most popular antivirus software, probably because they get it preinstalled on many new computers.

Our Verizon cell phone based wireless internet is the most reliable we have had. However, we cannot get 5G here yet so this is LTE, way faster than the DSL we had before.
Other choice is Crapcast, which also has problems and poor support. When we had cable, bad storms would cause power outages at some of their boxes on the light poles, and cable would go out. They'd give me service credit, and we can live without cable, so that was OK. (We dropped cable a few years ago). But losing internet service is a big problem. Most discovery for my wife's cases comes off the state's Sharefile system, as well as email.
