I would mind it right now if Tennessee would invade Illinois: Secret Strategy Meeting With Chicago Teachers Union Brass and French Rioters Confirms Conspiracy--and apparently they think the folks in France are rising up to avoid "extreme right wing populism in the United States." 

And I really hope the rumors I hear about J.B. Pritzker having an indictment waiting in federal court are true. This state is fine in the country and absolutely insane in the big towns. 

And I hope Elon's security is top notch.

Repost from late yesterday. Read the quote from Babylon 5

In B5, there are ancient alien races that have gone "Beyond the Rim", whatever that means. Two stayed behind to help younger races to advance.

The two are the Shadows, who believe advancement comes by war; chaos. The  other are the Vorlons, who believe in strict control and order. We meet two Vorlons, both named Kosh ("We are all Kosh")

Put the two together.

And I really reccomend watching the series. Note that first impressions of the characters often end up quite wrong by the end.

There is a part of me that gets rather tired of "we have nothing to fear but fear itself" retreads. I appreciate the sentiment, and it is valid, but everyone in media seems to try to come up with their own version of the same concept. I haven't seen many that struck me as any better than the original.

There is zero accountability with the ballots. Funny how in the end the vote count has a consistent outcome.
